Added a new feature to my homepage today, although not a very big one. If you haven’t noticed yet, it’s the footer at the bottom. I have moved the contact information from the "me" pages and the copyright information down to this footer. This footer will probably see some more changes in the near future, but at least it’s there now. After only almost 5 months on my homepage todo-list.On another note; I had an MR scan performed on my knee last week and got the pictures in the mail today. I looked at them and couldn’t find anything wrong. I hope the doctor finds something though so that my bad knee can be fixed. Stay tuned for scans of my scans.

Monday, I was a little bored at work and suddenly there was an interesting competition on the radio. They translate an English song to Norwegian and present it like a poem, and it’s up to the listener to figure out which song it is. I found out it was "I wanna be the only one" by Eternal, and rang in, and actually got through and was put on the air. I then got the message that I had won… A wine cooler worth 10.000,- Norwegian kroner (about $1400)! Here’s a picture of it. In Norway the car insurance is based alot around how far you drive over the course of a year. These last two years I’ve had my car, I’ve paid to drive 16.000km a year, but have actually only driven 10.000km. This made me call my insurance company to make me pay for 10k a year instead of 16k, to get cheaper rates (and not giving the company more money than they deserve, of course). Suddenly the nice lady at the other end of the line wanted my bank account number, since this had a two year retrospective effect. They were actually going to pay me back the money I had overpaid. My summer vacation is nearing it’s end, and to sum it up, it has been a wonderful vacation back at my parents. I’ve been to the beach, joined my folks for a trip out with our boat, relaxed, and even had a little flight with a propellar-plane. I also attended a local music festival with famous norwegian artists giving a great performance for what must have been Norways biggest vorspiel (See the photos of both events in the photosection).I also found that the local library had a free WiFi access point, so that I could also get some time online.Unfortunately I had to go to work a couple of days in my vacation to make sure everything worked for the big tests being performed on […] Read more
