Once In A White Moon

Snow, music and technology

I thought it’d be smart to write something again before christmas. In my previous post I told you about my new cellphone. Now I even have an image of it. As you can see, customized to my every need. The first snow has also come… and gone again… and come back for good this winter. Temperatures have gone up and down like a jo-jo, but they seem to have stabilized on about -5C for now. As you all know, not the perfect weather/temperature combination for an anti-winter person as myself. But I have to admit it certainly adds to the christmas feeling, so I give it permission to stay for christmas. I’ve also bought some new DVDs and CDs, as can be expected when I’m being […] Read more

Summer summary

New record. Four and a half months without an update. Never mind that. I write now. That’s what counts. So, lately, I’ve been to Denmark with my orchestra, but you already know that, of course, because you’ve seen the photo updates. And I’ve been to a wonderful fireworks concert, but you know that too because of the photos. And you’ve also seen the photos from the Lord of the Rings Symphony and my teambuilding with my co-workers, so no need to talk about that either. At the checkin line at the airport I started sweating more and more, and my stomach really started to hurt. After about an hour in line in a 30 degree hall I finally got the departure hall where I ran into a toilet. After finishing up that business I got in line to get something to drink since I was still sweating my extremities off. Just when I reached the counter I got that tingly feeling at the jaw-muscle, so I knew what was coming. I ran back to the toilet […] Read more

Furniture art

It hurts. My muscles hurt. Been doing way to much physical activity these last few days. I’ve changed tyres on my car (from winter to summer), my band had marching excercises and I’ve bought a couple of new shelves for my DVD-collection. I don’t usually do much of this physical stuff so now I’m paying the price. Although I finished one of the shelves on tuesday I had to dismantel it again because I had put two of the pieces upsidedown. That made all the shelves to have a nice 30 degree tilt. Totally acceptable for a piece of art, not for a piece of furniture. But I think the livingroom turned out for the better though.Tomorrow I’m actually going to the town of Bergamo […] Read more
