Once In A White Moon

To bee or not to bee

Last night it happened again. I woke up and felt something in my hair. After much shaking it all about, a hornet fell out. After some more crazy shaking to make sure no other hornets were crawling somewhere on me, I guided the one hornet outside. Knowing what happened on monday, I was now pretty fed up with these nightly visits.I fetched my Maglite and shined between the wall and the inner skirting around the window to see if I could find where they were coming out. In one particular place where the skirting stood a bit out of the wall, I could see two pair of legs crawling around (strictly speaking there were 12 legs). I then found the one nail I had lying […] Read more

The birds and the bees… especially the bees

I know it’s been a long time since I’ve updated this, and I’ve started to realize that I should probably forget about trying to update ever week or so. But I’ll still update it from time to time, when something worth mentioning happens in my life… and this is one such occation. A couple of weeks ago I heard a small, high pitched, scratchy sound after I had gone to bed (you know, the kind that’s impossible to locate). Orchestra helps with new job again

So the next day I sent him my resum? and didn’t think any more of it. Suddenly last week he IM’d me and asked if I was free to come talk with his manager the following day, which I of course was. I went over there and had a nice chat with him. Then on monday he called me back for a second interview, this time also with the boss of the company. The interview went very well, and I think […] Read more

Halloween with backpain and TV

Christmas came and went, and I got all boring presents. Of course, I’d only put boring presents on my list that year, so at least I got what I wanted. But lets go to more recent events. The last couple of weeks I’d had some backpain that just wouldn’t go away. My neck, shoulders and upper back hurt whenever I moved around. So every day last week, and one day this week, I had sessions with a chiropractor who "broke" my back into working order. No matter how good anyone is at their work, I still find it rather alarming to hear big cracks in my back. But it helped. My back is now just as good as it has been before, if not even a […] Read more
